MIA Members' Annual Meeting

Thursday, July 19, 2012
4:30 – 5:30 p.m.

Pillsbury Auditorium

Members will elect trustees and hear MIA Director and President Kaywin Feldman present a review of the museum's past accomplishments and acquisitions and introduce its exciting new four-year strategic plan: DNA, which stands for Dynamic New Approach.

Following the meeting, members can take advantage of their free passes to view the MIA's newest exhibition: Rembrandt in America, receive an additional discount on purchases in the museum shop, and have an opportunity to participate in tours exclusively arranged for that evening.

Improv Comedy: Rembrandt & Rassieur

Join MIA artists-in-residence Tane Danger and Brandon Boat and members of their improv troupe for an hour of illuminating conversations and surprising juxtapositions. First in the hot seat will be Tom Rassieur, curator of the exhibition "Rembrandt in America." He'll supply the gravitas about Rembrandt's work, life, and times, which the improvisers will act out in comic riffs. Expect a fun, fast-paced event.
